Mirtazapine alongside HRT

I have posted this in Menopause area too but thought I would ask on here too.

I have been advised to take Mirtazapine with my HRT (Estelle Duet) at my 3 month review with my GP. I haven't seen much improvement in my menopause symptoms (low mood, poor sleep, mind fog, anxiety, lack of labido). So she has prescribed 15mg Mirtazapine to treat the poor sleep and anxiety.

Since looking into the Mirtazapine I am not sure this is the right course of action. Has anyone else has similar experience and did this help or should I go back and request looking at a different HRT?

Also how did you find going on Mirtazapine? I have 3 yo DTs so can't be in a drowsy fog the next day and am thinking I might not bother with it and just put up with these menopause symptoms.

Not on HRT, but am on Mirtazapine and find it much better than previous ADs that caused me to feel permanently exhausted. I think it helps that you take it at night.
