Prozac side affects - similar to morning sickness?

I have just started taking prozac. I have had the familar nasty taste in my mouth and extreme thirst, but today woke feeling nauseous. It felt just the same as when I have benn pregnant. Anyone else found this? how long will it last? As an emetophobe this is a very uncomfortable feeling

oh honey....tis the same with many SSRIs, very very unlikely you will actually throw up.....the feelings will subside in a few days as you get used to the tablets.....x

thanks lulu - I am forcing feeding myself some toast now. Seriously considered not taking the tablet this morning tho

I found this when I started taking it. My GP warned me it could cause nausea for a short time so I decided to take it at bedtime which meant I didn't have to try and cope during the day if I felt sick.
It has certainly helped me so it is worth sticking it out. Good luck and I hope the nausea soon goes.

thanks norris. I have been tkaing them in the morning for some reason because when I read up about all the possible side affects I judged it better that way. Altho cant really remember the reason for it now. But if I cant cope with this I will switch to night time. Glad it helped you.

they had better lulu. I am not sure I can continue feeling like this and look after the DSs. Last time I took them was before they were born. I dont remember the nauesea before - but then that whole experence is a bit of a blur, and I was taking so many pills i was a zombie. Sounds quite appealing now tbh...

nausea much better, altho DS2 nappy did make me heave earler

But, I am just so so sleepy. Not really drowsy (as the leafet says, or tired, which I know I should be considering how little I hae had) just plain old sleepy And DS1 wants to play in the garden, DS2 wants to play inside, and I want to go to bed

go to bed as soon as the kids are in bed. even if you don;t sleep , you ar resting !
