Wondered if anyone could advise. Please don't take the mickey as its really starting to affect me.
I have real issues with slugs/snails. Not that I'm afraid of them but if I see them I can be physically sick. If I see squashed ones I will literally throw up.
Last night I saw a squashed one on the patio and was violently sick. The sight of it was in my thoughts all the time. I hate this time of year.
My partner has to get my car out in the mornings so incase there is any out in the garden.
I have no idea where it stems from. But I cannot carry on like this. I feel permanently sick.
Has anyone been through/going through similar?

Not as badly as you but I do have a thing about slugs-not keen on snails- but slugs really make me shudder and scream loudly on one occasion bringing my partner to the back garden. I can't stand the thought of using the usual methods to get rid of them. Snails I deport across the road using special tongs (don't know what neighbours think!). Slugs I try to control with nematodes that kill them before they grow. Obviously that only works in my garden though. I do understand what you say about the thought of them getting in your head. I never used to have a garden and have just had to train myself to calm down since I've had one, but I still feel revulsion. Sorry no real advice but I do empathise.
