Just feeling meh. Moved to a weeny village in north wales from the midlands. Seemed like a good idea at the time. 5 months on I've made 0 friends. I had loads of friends back home. Left all friends and family behind and feel horribly lonely. worried that our daughter isn't making friends at nursery either. Taken antidepressants in the past and had counselling. Really don't want to let the black dog back in the door again as Pete from Cold Feet would say 😕

Maybe a black dog is literally what you need?
Taking the dog out is a great way to meet nice people every day!! Even a smile and a little chat can make a difference if you feel shit.

Thank you. Need to wait til DD is a little bit older before we invest in a hound. I like your thinking though 🤗 think it's hard to break into a close knit village where everyone is either related to someone or has lived there their entire lives. I'm gonna keep plugging. There's a sociable friendly creature trying to break out under this dark cloud!!
