Venlafaxine and sweating

Hi, I've been on venlafaxine a couple of months now. I'm sweating like mad. I had a meeting at work the other day and was dripping with sweat which was so embarrassing. Has anyone else experienced this and does it die down? Thanks.

It made me sweat so much during the night that I would have to dry myself and put on new pyjamas. I didn't sweat during the day iirc. Stopped taking it after about a year due to positive effects diminishing and side effects not going away.

Thanks for the reply Galloping. It is listed as one of the very common side effects. Unfortunately I sweat mostly during the day which is embarrassing when I'm at work. I hoped it would stop in time, but for me it seems to be getting worse!
