Borderline Personality Disorder

My GP has said there is a possibility of me having this. I have been on antidepressants for anxiety and depression pretty much constantly since I was 19. I am now 40. I had a horrible childhood and was emotionally abused.

Has anyone on here got BPD? What were the signs that you had it? Thanks in advance

I don't meet all the criteria for BPD but have attachment disorder in a big way so tick all of the boxes for that part of BPD. Happy to talk by pm.

Hi there. I have BPD and I realised it after reading a (great!) book called "the buddha and the borderline".

There's a list of characteristics online and most fit me. Difficulties regulating my emotions basically- feeling everything too deeply and therefore difficulty with relationships too.
