How do you know whether your child is displaying a healthy amount of anxiety or whether they are picking up on your anxiety and it's becoming unhealthy for them?

They will pick up all your anxiety, healthy and unhealthy. But you can help counter that by being unconditionally loving and understanding. If you do that then they'll be ok.... no one's perfect.

My son mirrors my anxiety and it's so hard to see. But I counteract it with unconditional openness about it, we've bought some great books too, like 'scrambled heads' and 'the big bag of worries'.

Oh they sound great thanks will look for them! That makes sense, I am double guessing what would be "normal" for a 3yo to be anxious about (if anything) but I suppose if it mirrors my anxieties then that'll be my answer x
