Massage to help Anxiety

I would like to join a yoga class but my anxiety is holding me back from being in a group situation. The lady who runs it asked if I had thought about specific massage for stress. Has anyone had experience of going to a spa or physio for specific stress related massage?

I have had massages before (aromatherapy, neck, back shoulder etc) at spas and sometimes it can make me feel worse afterwards. Any thoughts?

Have you tried walking in rural areas? I found it very helpful...I went to my nearest place where there'd be few or any people and found it very helpful....green, trees and fresh air as well as exercise helped a lot.
