Lithium your experience please

About to go from olanzapine and venlafaxine to lithium for my bipolar- what are your experiences please? X

My son takes all 3 but he takes them for a completely different reason to you. I cant say how he feels on them because he wouldn't be able to communicate anything but he is doing well on them.

I have been on it for several years. No side effects anymore but to start with I had thirst and hand tremor. I find that it is good against mania and mixed states. I have to take antidepressants for depression. I take also antipsychotic.
