Fluoxetine and insomnia

Hi
Am on day 9 of fluoxetine and I actually do feel better mood wise already. Side effects not too bad, dry mouth a tiny bit of nausea. However am having bad nights. Once asleep I don't seem to dream at all (used to have very vivid dreams) but I wake in the night and will be awake for HOURS. It takes me forever to get back to sleep.

Am feeling very zombie like at times and wondering if anyone else has had this? Does it pass?

I've taken fluoxetine before and always had to take it first thing in the morning so it didn't affect my sleep. It got better after a couple of weeks anyway.
