Hi
First time poster here. I have been struggling with work anxiety for about a year.. I have been signed off twice for 2 weeks at a time !
I started taking sertraline nearly 3 weeks ago but I am still struggling badly. I was physically sick this morning and dreading going to work tomorrow.
I am looking for another job but as yet no luck.
Has anyone got any hints tips on how to deal with my anxiety at work ??
Is is all I ever think about. I find it impossible to "switch off"...

I have been there for 17 years and it has changed so much and I actually hate it.

Please help me to feel better xxx

I found something called EFT helpful, I would go and sit in the loo and use the techneque. Also the mindfulness app, headspace really helped reduce my anxiety levels done for 10 minutes every morning before work.
Is your manager aware? They should be looking at ways to help you stay well and remain in work. I had my hours and duties changed for a while and currently have permission to just put everything down and go to a quiet area or leave work and go for a walk if I need to for a bit.
