Hi! First time poster. Every summer when it is light outside after 7:30ish. I get depressed. All I want to do is go and cry! It is always worst around May-June. Has anyone else experianced this?

Is it because you feel everyone is socialising in the summer, bbqs with friends, beer garden soirees etc ?

Hiphopopotamus · 09/05/2017 21:38

Yes - I get thus, especially with the light evenings. And it's so much worse when the weather is sunny for days in a row. I think it's because it jarrs too much with how I feel inside. After a while I find the lightness and the sun starts to feel ominous

loverofbadtv · 09/05/2017 21:39

chris Not at all. In fact I've had it since I was around 11, it's for no reason apart from the sun setting late.

I feel the same op. It's odd isn't it?

loverofbadtv · 09/05/2017 21:42

Choc Hip It is! You hear about people who have SAD and it makes sense in a way, where as this doesn't.
But I am glad to know it's not just me!

Can you think of any reason why you feel this way op?

loverofbadtv · 10/05/2017 15:40

Choc No I can't! And this is what bugs me about it.
