Not sure the point of this thread just feeling very overwhelmed lately.. I've lost interest in pretty much everything, don't want to be around family, I'm angry, sad, numb all the time, kids are picking up on it and acting out terribly feel like a complete failure of a mom, a person, just at everything in general.. Anyone else felt the same? Feel guilty as I have a great partner and a 7 yo, 5yo and a 6 month old so shouldn't be feeling like this

I felt like this. I think you are suffering from post natal depression. Go and see your gp. Be kind to yourself (sleep, exercise, healthy food, plenty of water, evening primrose oil, time out, ditch alcohol, do things that make you happy like dinner with your best mates).
A course of cbt really helped me and it was online and over the phone so I could do it at home at nap time.
And if that doesn't work your gp can prescribe you something. You will be fine but you do have to help yourself. Good luck. Xx

Thanks for the reply.. I feel a bit silly going to my gp and I don't have any friends, what cbt if you don't mind me asking, how do I do that? x

Don't feel silly, so many mums get this. If you don't nip this in the bud you can end up in a deep deep whole.
CBT as arranged by my gp, it is cognitive behaviour therapy - it basically helps you challenge the negative voice in your head and make you think of things more positively.

Have a read of this and see if it sounds like how you are feeling...
