Bouts of derealisation?

I keep getting bouts of derealisation.

It's like I look at everything around me and it's surreal or like in a video game. I keep thinking something is going to jump out at me and my memory is greatly effected when it happens.

I have depression but I'm on men's for that.
I'm visually impaired but can't see how that would make a difference.
No childhood trauma.

It lasts 5 minutes to about an hour normally a few times a day. I find it very distressing.

Anyone else get this? Why is it happening? I don't like it.

Theses some good info about it on this website www.neurosymptoms.org.

I've had some desociation but not as you describe. For me its more like my brain just checks out even mid sentance.

It's interesting.

It's quite distressing though.

Seeing a CBT lady on Friday so will mention it to her.
