I havent self harmed for years and it is all I can think of doing.

I want something to hurt more than I do right now.

I felt like that a couple days ago. Out of the blue, after 7 years no problems. I sat on the floor and cried for two hours. DH came home and put me and kids in the car and took me for a drive. Feel so much better now. Was so overtired from DC being ill.

Do you have anyone else with you or anyone you can call on for some help?

Hi there Reset. We're really sorry you're having such a difficult time at the mo. We hope you can get some advice and support in real life as well as here. In the meantime, hope you don't mind, but we're going to move this thread over to our mental health topic, where we think you'll get lots more really useful support from the ever-helpful posters over there. Very best wishes from us all at MNHQ.

Nobody Is here at the moment, just me and the kids. The immediate urge has gone, thankfully. I managed to do some of the suggestions and try and ground myself to the present and breathe and focus on my body, and that helped.

Dc has got MH issues and has told me are being bullied, so I need to speak to school tomorrow. Thankfully they are now asleep so I am going to go to bed myself.

Thank you for your kind words and support. It was a relief to know I wasn't alone.
