Sertraline help please

I've been changed over to sertraline & ive been on it for about 10 days now at a dose of 50mg to increase to 100mg next week. Thing is, I can't stop eating! In the past week I've eaten so much that I'm worried about my blood sugar ( type 2 diabetes)
Has anyone else had this problem and does it settle down eventually? Thanks for any advice Confused

Bumping for you lovelySmile
Don't have any answers for you sadly other than to ask for an emergency GP appointment as it sounds worrying from your pov.I'm hoping that some other MN-er's will come along to advise, but there is also a diabetes forum which may be helpful to post on.

Hi, I didn't have this problem at all on sertraline and I've not heard of it on any of the many sertraline threads we see on Mumsnet. In view of the diabetes, I would second empire's advice to see your doctor as soon as you can. Hope you get some answers and I hope you find the sertraline as helpful as I did!

Thankyou both for your replies, I've got an appointment for a diabetic check tomorrow so I'll discuss it with the doctor Flowers
