[Lolaandstan]

Started 10mg today. Felt really sick and spaced out all day. Hope this improves. Really dissapointed as had so much to do today and have done nothing. Really tired now too.

I had side effects for 2 weeks - broken sleep, night sweats, nausea - hard as it is you have to accept you are going to feel worse for a while - but it will kick in and start having positive effects. There is a light at the end of the tunnel

I'm on Day 15, 10mg. Have been on 20mg before a few years ago and I felt so much better by week 6. This time round I'm feeling terrible, but like a hangover. Really nauseous, tired, light headed, anxious, hot, no appetite at all and spaced out. Now on day 15 I'm noticing a little improvement in my mood and motivation. Coping a little better so I'm just riding it out. I'm upping my dose to 20mg next week as from my experience last time 10mg is not quite enough for me.

Hope you feel better soon, it's really grim I keep thinking why did I decide to go back on these I feel absolutely shocking!! But I know In the end I'll feel much much better for doing this. Just got to ride it out for now.

Also are you taking them in the morning or at night? I was advised first time round to take them at night so that's what I do and I think it's better, I notice about an hour after taking it I feel really tired so it's helping me sleep a bit better. Also if you feel sick after it you'll be asleep or in bed resting at least.

Thanks I know i have to ride it out as I need to get better. The doc said it doesnt affect sleep but as last time last night i was awake until around 4am i don't feel sick today but i can hardly keep my eyes open! Żzzzzzz

Arghh, I've been like that for months it's no fun at all is it!! But since taking these meds I've been able to fall asleep quite easily they make me so tired, so that's really helped me. Really hope you start to feel better soon

I had no problem sleeping before its the citalipram i just cant go off to sleep. Does anyone know if yiu can take kalms with it?

I felt sick and tired for the first 6 weeks but they helped my depression so I just had to stick at it! Hard though

Last night even worse i didnt sleep hardly at all and when i did i woke up soaking wet and shivering. I cant believe i still can't sleep. Im going to try the pill tonight instead.

Sounds horrible lolaandstan. Hope things improve when you change it to night time. I've felt grim the last 24 hours. cannot wait to feel better.

I did get a little more sleep and i feel a bit more normal this eve. Since being on it ive felt on the edge of madness. I don't remeber this feeling b4 but i took for pnd so maybe i was too busy with dd. I can't imagine I stayed in it for a few years if the syptoms did't settle. I just hope that happens soon.

It's weird how the same medication affects you differently second time round. First time for me made my anxiety a million times worse it was awful but that was about it, and tiredness. This time I've felt horrendous like I've got a constant hangover! However I took my 17th tablet tonight and have felt better today than I have since I started them 👍🏻 give it a week or so and you'll feel better too

Starting to feel demented now last night no sleep at all but keep nearly falling asleep when I can't in the day.

Been on 40mg citalopram for 2 years found out I'm pregnant and my go taken me off them as they can damage Brady's heart so I agree it's been a wk and I feel awful can anybody relate pls

How are you lolaandstan? Are you sleeping any better?

Kellywilz congratulations I haven't any experience of stopping the tablets suddenly so can't help but hope your doing ok.
