My lovely DS2 (19) has severe OCD with intrusive disturbing thoughts. He also has Aspergers. He is gentle, kind and everyone loves him, but he currently believes he is dangerous :(
He's on Sertraline, and we are paying for CBT privately while the NHS wheels grind slowly into action. He is pretty much housebound as he is terrified he is going to hurt someone :(
Will it ever improve? It started a couple of years ago, but then with meds, went away and we thought he was fine. Then earlier this year something triggered him and he is so unwell now, and it breaks my heart to see him so scared.
I don't know how to help him and never know if I am saying/doing the right things...
