What Time Do You Take Your Anti-depressants?

Hi everyone. Long time lurker (mostly) on mn.

I've been on paroxetine for a while now, and believe it's a good fit for me in regards to keeping my moods pretty even, and I've successfully cut my dose (under doctor supervision) from 40mg/day to 20mg/day.

As I said, I feel pretty good with it, but there are a couple of niggles. The biggest one is feeling quite "foggy" and I struggle to get motivated in the mornings, even after having a great nights sleep. I've always put this down to being on anti-d's and just thought it was a common side effect. Or am I wrong?

I'm wondering if changing the time of day that I take my tablet will change the way I feel in the morning. I currently take it at about 5pm every day. If I pushed it back by several hours, would I feel better in the mornings, in your opinion? Would the fog happen in the evening, possibly making it easier to fall asleep earlier and easier?

Any suggestions are welcome. I need to be somewhat on the ball in the mornings to get kids up and ready for school, so it would be great if I could get this sorted soonish!

Thanks for reading and any suggestion.
