From Sertraline to cymbalta

Tried Sertraline 3 weeks but didnt work for me. Now startet cymbalta. Anyone doing the same?

I'm on Cymbalta 90mg.
It keeps you on an even keel but be careful of the side effects. Brain zaps, vertigo and nausea are quite common. I had no idea until I started researching.
I was advised it was the new wonder drug and I even took advice from the GPs on the Pratice I work in.
I have been on it for four years and still get side effects.
Be careful and good luck.

Oh and it can also take a month or so for you to feel the full benefit of itZ

I have tried cymbalta before but have never gone directly from Sertraline to cymbalta... Dont know if I should expect sideeffects or not with the change in meds...

So far no sideeffect

Day 2 with 30 mg. Some anxiety and jittery feeling. Oxapax helps but makes me tired...

Day 3 - now on 60 mg - really tired - but take oxapax twice a day as well...

Day 4 - 60 mg - a bit of a headache and still tired. But eating better than while taking Sertraline (lots of nausea)...

I did well on it and side effects weren't too bad and faded after about a month. Hope it works for you.

Day 5 - 60 mg - tomorrow they are upping me to 90 mg

Day 6 - now on 90 mg cymbalta.

Took the 90 mg 6 hours ago feeling okish

Still feel ok

Day 7 - 90 mg - feeling ok - tired - but that might be the benzos. Have had some small headaches but feeling ok.

Day 8 - 90 mg - same as yesterday

Day 9 - 90 mg - still not able to sleep through the night even with sleeping pills. Had a migrane yesterday - but think it is linked to my period and not cymbalta... My overthinking seems to have slowed down some...

Feeling ok again today. No migrane.

Day 10 - 90 mg - had a hard time falling asleep yesterday even with sleeping pill...
Have a headache today (medicine?)... And a bit of "nervous" energi feeling...

My problem with Sertraline is I cannot ejaculate. I'm on 200gm .I'm so so frustrated . Please help.

Have you talked to your gp?

Yes I have. They tell me there 's no tablet on the market that could help me.I find Sertraline very good so I little choice.

Day 11 - 90 mg - stillvery tired - some anxiousness and feeling a bit sad... Hope it gets better soon...

Day 12 - 90 mg - still tired - not sleeping well - take sleeping pill but wake up really early and can't sleep very good after that. Some headache. Some anxiety and increasing when not taken benzos. Mostly in bed still.

Day 13 - 90 mg:
Had a good nigth yesterday. Feeling happy...
Tried to sleep better with seroquel (instead of sleeping pill). Sleept maybe a bit more but nothing impressive - will however try againg tonight... Bc Sleeping pills have not helped...
