Any one tried Lofepramine?

I'm just about to start my 4th week of Lofepramine & just wondered what other peoples experiences of this AD were like. Before this I'd been on Citalopram for nearly a year but I was still experiencing bad bouts of depression.
I don't think Lofepramine is the AD for me as it's making me feel very angry inside, something I've never felt before to this extreme, and I am experiencing big feelings of hatred towards my 3 dd's.
Also, I've put on 7lbs since taking this AD which is making me feel even more depressed! Especially as I've been very careful over my diet as I'm actually tring to lose those post x-mas extra pounds!
Any advice or experiences please

I'd suggest you make an appointment asap to see your GP again. Doctors need to know if you have problems with tablets so that they can check to see if you're taking the right dose, at the right time of day, etc etc and if the tablets aren't working for you, they can prescribe an alternative and tell you how to change from one to the other. Hth.

Thanks guys, have an appointment with my dr on Tues & will hopefully be able to try another AD, although I feel I'd be best off without rather than feeling like this!

i tried it for about 2 or 3 weeks,it made me feel tired and irritable and very very constipated(which led to weight gain).i think i was put on cipramil after that,which made me feel calmer from what i can remember.
