I struggle with anexity and they also say OCD and depression all come together I have two kids and I have tried counciling through nhs and didn't get on with it also had some counciling through my local children centre and had three session then she left but luckily found another councilor :) and meet up with her every week it helps talking and ranting to someone that doesn't know you was doing quite well until last weekend just everything getting on top of me so decided to go see doctor yesterday and they put me on anti depressants the sertraline meant to help with anxiety as well just worried about all side affects now :/ but I can't carry on feeling the way I do :/
Since my aniexity popped up again I have split up with my partner of three half years he got me through a lot of hard times and helped me out of a horrid relationship before and help me through everything to do with that , I feel bit lost don't know how to be myself anymore cause I've always had him to help me through hard places in the last few years and we've always got through together feel like I'm on my own through this don't get me wrong I have few friends that try there hardest to understand what I'm going through how I feel just not the same :/
Just want to here how people get through it or found anything that has helped

Lily - tes cymbalta helped a lot on my anxiety. Didnt remove it completly but did work for me. I decided to try without (with a psykiatrist (spelling?))... Have been without since january and have now crashed hard without any AD... So trying Sertraline hoping it can take the anxiety without me getting too sleepy all the time... Must say thought that now on day 17 I am feeling very tired still (om Sertraline)... Hoping it goes away... But I have just slept about 7 hours with no sleeping pills and did not wake with terrible anxiety - so hoping for a better day today than Yesterday...

AnxietySertraline · 25/06/2016 06:59

Yes not tes

Feeling a little anxious about today as got few things to do but hoping be a goods day :)
Hope everyone's feeling better than a yesterday :)

Sorry to hear what you've been through ginger hopefully you'll start to feel a bit better with tablets, I shouldn't think you'll be a burden to your family or friends :) or if you really can't talk to anyone maybe try and find a counciler :) really helps to talk about everything your worried about or struggling with as they listen and don't judge :) maybe help :)

Hi Natty

Sorry to hear you didn't sleep well. I also had a terrible nights sleep so am exhausted this morning! Let's hope we have a good day today. It's looking sunny outside. I'm thinking about going out, but I find it quite difficult to go out by myself.

Hope you all have a good day Smile

Morning. How's everyone? I slept better after taking a sominex. My mum can't help at the mo as recovering from surgery (another thing!!) but my daughter sleeps really well so I'm not needing to be up in the night generally. Does anyone else wake up with a jolt like they've had a shock? Happens to me every morning and it's horrible as the enormity of what's happened hits me again.
Anyway. Just booked cinema tickets for this afternoon so that I have to go out otherwise it would be tempting to hide out in the house all weekend and that's not fair on my daughter. At least I can have a nap in the cinema! X

GingerMatron1971 · 25/06/2016 08:59

Thanks Natty, I'm going to ask the gp about counselling when I go back but may have to go privately I'd there's a long wait. I think it would help x

AnxietySertraline · 25/06/2016 09:21

Ginger - yesI wake op like that a lot... But it is a bit less now after taken Sertraline some time...

mummynatty · 25/06/2016 09:54

Not too bad here need to pop up to shop and get some food but first to tidy daughters been sick to this morning :/
Good that you've booked cinema ginger sure your daughter will love that anything nice on at cinema?
Have you got children centre near you as I got counciling from there or maybe you have another place you get counciling as I go somewhere where I live :) I'm guessing private counciling is a lot of money :/ hope you find some :)

I've got a childrens centre across the road but it's for under 5s and my daughter is 7 😔
I feel gutted today about my relationship ending, I can't really believe it, things were so good and now this. It's probably for the best but that doesn't stop it hurting big time.
Good luck with the food shop...I managed Sainsburys yesterday for the first time in a fortnight! We were living off dust 😄

Stargirl82 · 25/06/2016 11:58

Morning all.

I got bugger all sleep, 2 feeds todo in the night and then had to take eldest to rugby. Now slobbing on the sofa! Probably won't
Go out rest of the day.

I need a nap already!

Trust me mummy there's plenty to do I just can't be bothered! My eldest is on the kindle and just put little man in door bouncer. Hopefully at nap time later I can convince my eldest to behave and close my eyes!

Not great weather here and don't have a line outside so we've always got stuff inside.

mummynatty · 25/06/2016 13:15

Aw I've been like that last few days just sitting and watching to and letting things pile up around me and being lazy :/ so feel better now for some stuff done :) done quite a bit to normal so happy I've got some stuff done then if don't feel great later or tomorrow I won't have lots of stuff piling up again :) and it's clean :) xxxxxx
