My worn down teeth are really bothering me?

I am a 23 year old guy and I am wearing braces that cost £3,000.

My two front teeth were slightly chipped and one was shorter than the other so the orthadontist used contouring to wear them both down to make them even. But they are much shorter than before and look horrible to me.

This is causing me a lot of distress. I spend all day worrying about it because you can t make the teeth re-appear again.

I wish I could go back in time and say no! leave them as they are.

What can I do?

Get veneers.
They're like perfect pearly teeth that are built on top of existing teeth. If it's causing such distress you may even get them on the NHS. First point if call GP, then back to dentist.

In an ideal world I would want my teeth to be my teeth. I don't want bits of plastic added on but I might have to. I think they have to chip away some of the tooth before they fit them on which is a worry.

I just wish the dentist had never worn them away. But you can't change the past I suppose.

Really ophelia, he's already upset and uncomfortable that his teeth have been worn down to even them out and you suggest he gets them shaved down to little stumps?! Dont be so fucking ridiculous!!

Do NOT do that op before proper research and a good few months to get used to the new you!

I haven't seen any other thread have I. It's a perfectly valid cosmetic solution to the OP's problem. Obviously research into the procedure goes without saying.

I'll now leave you both alone in your tree house of prior understanding.
