When too give them food after tummy bug??

Friday morning at 1.30 my little boy who is 3 started to throw up, he was sick all night and the next day!! He couldn't keep water down, at about 6pm last night he managed to keep down water and wasnt sick all night, but he has woken up this morning asking for Cheerios shall I give them too him?? X

Maybe start off with some dry toast and see how he goes.

I always fed mine whatever they felt like when they felt ready to eat

Offer the Cheerios dry without milk as a compromise

Agree, without milk would be ideal but DD can be extremely emphatic at times like this so if he insists on milk then just be prepared for the next couple of hours with towels and/or a bowl!

I always give them what they fancy, just not too much of it.

I celebrated the end of the worst sick bug I've ever had with a Chinese.

Three days of can't even keep water down.
3pm on last day - still can't keep water down. Want to die.

4pm - feeling vaguely human again.

5pm - STARVING. Need Chinese.

I think the body knows what it wants and can cope with.

He is lactose intolerant anyway so he doesn't have milk anyway.. Yeah I heard what ever they ask for give it too them.. Lolly ices he wants now!! He has managed to keep the Cheerios down so fingers crossed.. What about juice or should I stick too water for now

Well that's notmyrabbit I had it myself the day before and now day 3 of no food I'm craving an Indian!! Just think it's a little bit too early I'm going to do my just eat order for when it opens at 4.30!!!!!
