Problem with every day paranoia

I worry obsessively over small things - mostly relating to my career. Is someone out to get me? Have I done something grossly wrong? Etc etc. As a result I've obviously ruined my career, things will never be the same, people will laugh at me.

Does anyone else have this? It's starting to happen more frequently.

Is this an ego thing? Am I putting myself at the centre of other's thoughts too much?

I am pretty sick of it. I just want to stop getting SO upset over every little thing.

I have had mental health probs in the past - anxiety and depression.

Any advice appreciated, or even just a chat to someone similar.

I'm similar - I worry about everything all the time. I'm unable to drive because I worry so much about doing something wrong and other drivers being angry with me. So I'm practically housebound as I live in the middle of nowhere. I have no advice unfortunately :( But I do think it's also a thing we need to accept : Other random people probably don't care whatsoever about what we do. Of course those near us care, but not the random people you meet at work or out and about! But it doesn't seem to help me atleast :p

Aww Pidapie that doesn't sound very nice. It's awful though isn't it as each time you convince yourself that you HAVE done something catastrophic. Sad

Yep, that's exactly it! I hope someone will come along with some advice soon!
