Anyone been on this? Just been described it because sertraline isn't working anymore. I've just had to change GP because the old one retired and she said this is the last AD I can be prescribed as I've had fluoxetine, citalapram and mirtazapine in the past. Side-effects look a bit scary, but then they always do!

I haven't tried this one- but there are over 20 different types of ADs licenced by NICE, so even if it doesn't work, you're not at the end of the road yet! (Sorry - just wanted to post something encouraging: I am sure it will work fine for you, and realise this has come out a bit backhanded Grin)

Thanks for the reply - just realised I typed described instead of prescribed - I think I'm already too dopey for a drowsy AD! GP said I'd have to see a psychiatrist to get anything else.

I am on this and have been for nearly a year. It's worked wonders for me on pnd with severe anxiety and no sleep. Took a few weeks to kick in. It hss resulted in slight weight gain and over time slightly reduced libido. I started on 25mg and went up to 100 and i have been reducing down since the summer (currently on 25). No side effects on reducing the dose. Hope it works for you.
