Do you think ive been forgotton?

Saw a consultant psych in june for assessment and was referred to a 'collegue' for treatment but was told that because it was quite intensive there is usually a 3 month wait .
I still havent heard a thing 6 months on.
I called them yesterday to enquire and they just asked me which treatment i was waiting for,i dunno im not a psych,said they would get back to me ,which they still havent done.
What do ya reckon?

mmm may have been or depending on which psychotherapy it is and what your area is like it could be just the waiting list. Do you see anyone else from mental health team?

Had to see someone out of my area because of my family history as i could never trust the local team.
Praying that they havent forgotton me cos i wont trust them then

Hassle them - you deserve better.
I know that it not the same but when we applied to adopt we heard nothing for ages and did not want to hassle SWD when I eventually did they were apalled that I had not contacted them sooner.
Our papers had got "lost" in an office move and god knows what would have happened had I not contacted them.
Just phone them and be polite and when your appointment is likely to be.
It will be fine -promise .

would phone again next week and maybe ask to see someone even the psych to see whats going on. If you have seen psych then you should be allocated to one of the memebers of the team and there will be a file with whatever referral stuff he did.
