I know theres another on the go atm so sorry if I'm repeating.

I was prescribed these last week, 20mg for panic and anxiety attacks. I started them on Monday and havent felt any effects yet but I have started to feel incredibly tired after lunch times. Its such an overwhelming tiredness too.

I read the information that came with it and it didnt mention anything about tiredness/lethargy so I just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced it whilst taking them?

hi honey...just done a quick google and drowsiness and tiredness seem to be recognised side effects....

give it a couple of weeks to settle down...

are you still taking the spatone, if you are still a bit aneamic, that can also make you tired...xx

Awww I knew I could rely on you to answer. Thanks

No I ran out of the Spatone, must get some more.
So quite normal to feel tired then. Thats reassuring.

I was on them a few years back & they didn't really kick in for a good few weeks after starting them.
Tiredness was definitely one of the mild side effects that you can experience on this ad.

Give them a little time to kick in & hopefully you will soon be feeling a bit better.

Yes, the lunch time tiredness thing happened to me too. I've been on them for about 6 weeks. It was worst in the first few weeks where I started to feel a bit better and go out for walks in the morning with DS. When he'd gone for his nap I'd be spaced on the sofa trying to decide whether to fall asleep or get up and get on with things (generally I think I sleep better at night if I am busy during the day and don't nap).

Thanks all.
Yesterday was the worst yet. I just cannot stop yawning and wanting to go to bed.

I've just been prescribed these by my doctor and feel a bit nervous about taking them. Just out of interest, what time are you taking your tablets? He told me to take mine at about 11 am, do you think the tiredness won't hit me until bedtime if I take them then? I don't know anything about this drug, I suppose I should try and find something out.

I've been on them for 6 weeks. I tend to take them about 9.30am (allows time to have a bit of breakfast to line my stomach etc). I don't get huge amounts of tiredness anymore. I'm on 20mg. In the last couple of days I've been feeling anxious again so I'm worrying I need a stronger dose.
