Hi
I have been suffering post natal depression for a few weeks now, I have tried without medication but have today been prescribed sertraline.
I have never needed medication like this before and wondered if anyone could offer advice or personal experience.
I have heard that the side effects can be quite bad to begin with and as a first time mum to a 5 month old I am worried about the side effects hindering me caring for him. There is only me home during the day and I don't want the medication to mean I can't look after him safely.
Any advice would be appreciated.
