He refuses to do anything to help himself. He can't even write himself a shopping list for us to get him some food. He's decided to stop taking his meds. Dh is stressed out with it all. DBil is under pressure at work and Fil still seems to think that we're all going to look after him. He's got a narcissistic personality and has never had to do anything for himself. His wife enabled this all their married life.
The crisis team signed him off to a recovery team who send a girl out once a week, when she's not on holiday, and then nobody turns up at all.
He's got us and his friends running round after him doing his shopping, housework, taking him to medical appointments because he won't drive himself. He still has paranoid delusions that the police are going to arrest him for god knows what.
Dh threatens him with selling the house and putting him in a care home but we can't do that to him really. What we need is home carers and meals on wheels so he has someone going in on a regular basis.
I don't know what I'm posting for really, I know some of you are in worse situations. I'm just so frustrated with him, dh's reluctance to get involved, everything really.
