Last two times were disasters - ended up crying uncontrollably and not coming back. Is it okay / normal to make a list of things you want to discuss?

Thanks Blush

Yes. Whatever feels right for you, should be part of your therapy IMO.

When I was going through the worst bit of CBT I also found it hard to control the crying. My counsellor recommended that I bring a drink. She suggested fizzy because other patients had found it helped. I also found that it helped, not only to space out my breathing but something about the bubbles distracted my mind I think. Kept me grounded.

Hope you find a way through, it really helped me in the end.
