does seeing a mental health specialist as a 3 yo put you at risk for job in future?

My 3 yo And I are having some issues surrounding bereavement which I asked my HV if we could be referred to a counsellor for. We met with our mental health specialist today.

I have just read some follow up information I have been given and it says in the paragraph asking how and when to contact a mental health specialist: "by not naming the child you are protecting their right to confidentiality". As far as I know our case was handed over, on my request and my child is named.
Does seeing a mental health specialist when you are pre school put you at risk for certain jobs? Ok, he's only 3 but would a future employer be able to see that my DS was seeing a MHs?

No. And it shouldn't make a difference anyway.

No they wouldn't have access to that information, and no it wouldn't affect job prospects.
Just because your child is accessing support to do with bereavement doesn't mean they have a mental illness anyway.

Seeking help for a mental health problem should not preclude you from any jobs. A future employer does not have access to your child medical notes. Would an employer really be interested? Most employers are interested in what your health has been like in the past five or ten years at most. People with a history of mental health issues are protected by the disability act.
