I suffer from GAD and depression. I am a lone parent and am really struggling. All I seem to manage is the basic's he's fed, clean clothes and gets to school but everything is so hard and I feel so guilty that we never seem to have fun, the house is clean but never properly tidy. I'm on anti depressants and am due to start CBT in a few weeks. Can anyone understand and more importantly offer any tips to make things better.

I don't have any DC so no help there I'm afraid but didn't want to read and run.

You are achieving so so SO much by "just doing the basics". You are an incredibly strong person, really. I'm a teacher and so many kids don't get that, the very fact that you are worried about the other stuff speak volumes. You are doing amazingly.

Really hope things improve for you. My mum recently started ADs and improved within 2-3 weeks, she keeps trying to talk me into them!!

Love of hugs to you Flowers
