Agh run out of tablets!!

I've stupidly forgotten to get another prescription and I'm going away tomorrow until Monday. I usually have 50mg Sertraline and I'm now really worried about side effects of not taking it. Absolutely kicking myself!!! Am I likely to be okay (physically - I can cope mentally for a short time I think) or should I somehow get hold of some, and if so how?!

Can you ring the surgery in the morning and explain? They may be able to get the Dr to sign a new one for you there and then. Have you got the leaflet it came with does it say anything about stopping suddenly? May help your case with the receptionist.

I have come near to running out of citalopram just before going away on hols a couple of times. I just rang our surgery and they got a gp to ring and then prescribe. I would try not to go away without medication.
