I've had this, it's horrible, I used to have it worst when I was falling to sleep. Can you try the citalopram again, it does take a couple of weeks to work, the sickness may have been the anxiety around starting it and not the medication itself iyswim?

Yeah it's awful!! And my doctor said best not to take it for a while as I had a reaction to the ct scan dye so that could be making me feel worse as my body just is all over the place at the moment it's just awful! I know I couldn't just stop breathing there's nothing medically wrong but I keep thinking in breathless

ADs can initially increase anxiety & there can be starting side effects. However, these often settle down after a few weeks & it's mostly impossible to know if an A D will work for you unless you given it a couple of weeks. As said above, they usually take a couple of weeks to start helping your moods. It's crapyou desparately want relief & instead you have to endure things getting worsebut you need to look to the longer term, the citalopram could really make a difference.
