mirtazapine advice

I have the most awful insomnia. Doc has given me 30mg of mirtazapine. But I have read online that 15mg is best for insomnia am 30 can keep you awake should I half it or just take it any one have any experience of this thanks x

Oh I took one 15gm and it knocked me out! Really didn't like the effects.
