Ever since af came back after ds was born, I think that I have felt really down whenever it's af time. Not before - I take evening primrose oil then to stop me being so ratty - but about 3 days into af. Does anyone else feel like this and is there anything I can take or do to improve things? I am fine most of the time but for example this week has been unbearable, no patience whatsoever and floods of tears for several days. AF finishing today and feeling a slight improvement.

To get the full effect from EPO, you need to take it constantly and may not feel the benefit for a few months (as advised by consultant in womens services at my local hospital).

Oh right, thanks for that - for years I have just been taking it when it's PMT time which has worked for me just fine up till now. Apart from the fact that every so often I need to up the dose, now on 4 huge horse tablets a day. It is going to cost a fortune to take them all the time! But worth it I suppose if thigs feel better and I can look after ds without wanting to cry all the time.

After a good search locally I found 90 1000mg for £4.99 from Wicker Herbalist. You could try googling.
