We're now watching Newsnight. I have to ask what it was Blush

PollyPooic · 16/02/2015 23:07

I am the underclass

I think tomorrow's test might be just to verify that lithium is above 0.8 but under 1.0

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:08

You're foreign at least a little bit, aren't you, and therefore exempt?

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:10

Have just remembered today's GP asked whether I'd tried Depakote

DEPAKOTE!

The practice diabetes lead!

Wants me to get sodding PCOS too? HmmGrin

PollyPooic · 16/02/2015 23:11

my mum is English and so was her mum! but not her dad

PollyPooic · 16/02/2015 23:12

how come everyone else is always getting new drugs or at least being offered them?

have been sentenced to a lifetime of lithium and self pity, to be served in solitary confinement :(

CaulkheadUpNorth · 16/02/2015 23:17

I get ALL THE DRUGS because no one really knows what is wrong with me apart from the BPD and bipolar and it's all new so he keeps trying new stuff and more stuff so that soon I will say that I'm happy and not cutting. They seem to be the current requirements.

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:34

I'm happy and don't cut and still get offered shit drugs

So don't think you can get off that easy Grin

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:35

I would come and keep you company but I have o go to the dentist on Thursday

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:38

I assumed it was because you'd already tried ALL THE DRUGS a but apparently do best on toxic salts of reacrive metals? You're lucky in a way, there's some poor sod out there who responds like a moherfucker to a combination of Haldol and olanzapine so is condemned to eternity fat and shuffling

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:47

I actually felt pretty good on Risperdalback in the mists of time when I was seventeen apart from the tachycardia Hmm Seems to depend how bonkers they are as to how physically I'll they're willing to make you, though; I saw a mad guy in hospital given so much (clozapine? something) knockout juice his daily obs had him running a RHR of about 140 and the poor guy was shuffling and sweating his arse off.

Better maybe than attacking people like he was before but not much

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:49

How bonkers they THINK YOU are, damn you missing fucking words

And how does Deezer think its at all appropriate to follow up six tracks of steaming disco and Urethra Frankly with Greatest Liturgical Hits of the Sixteenth Sodding Century Hmm

PollyPooic · 16/02/2015 23:52

lithium was the first one they gave me I think apart things like clonazepam or chlorpromazine - have tried some antidepressants without much success

i forgot to brush my teeth and am really comfortable in bed, why is life so cruel

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:56

Shouldn't have called him mad, that wasn't a nice word to use Sad

does chlorpromazine feel anything like haloperidol?

Ennn · 16/02/2015 23:57

Because the universe hates you.

The moment you warm up again after having gone to brush your teeth and got into bed you'll need a wee.

PollyPooic · 16/02/2015 23:59

I loved chlorpromazine! It made me feel nice and creamy. Was on it for years before I realised it was making me fat!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/02/2015 00:00

Brush your teeth. I made a dentist appt today - first one in 5+ years so if I have to stop purging and brush my teeth so does the rest of the world.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/02/2015 00:02

Seriously, it's midnight? Ffs where do my days go?

I've had citalopram in the past, now I have it again with quetiapine to boost it, lithium to deal with the manicness of it and depacote to stabilise it all. And iron.

PollyPooic · 17/02/2015 00:07

well done for getting a dentist!

had an uncomfortable chat about dental stuff with cpn today but it doesn't feel like a priority

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/02/2015 00:15

I walked past one and made an appointment on the spur of the moment. I don't know if I will keep it, but everyone over the whole of the Internet and Facebook is having their teeth checked so I ought to. I can see the cavaties in one place so I doubt that's good.

Ennn · 17/02/2015 07:12

FFS why can't I sleep? Went to bed two hours ago but it's just not happening Angry

Millie2013 · 17/02/2015 07:52

Caulk, well done on the dentist, if he/she is kind, can you let me have their details pls?
I'm pleased you took the pill, Up :)

DavidTennantsBeard · 17/02/2015 09:12

Well done Up on taking your meds :)
I never get offered anything exotic. I am meant to go and see GP again but the appointment system is a nightmare and I hate making phone calls at best of times so it's not happening.
Need to get up and take kids to London for a day trip today (half term). Bit of a major undertaking involving stresses like catching trains, busy places, queuing, choices etc. hope u all have a good day.

Ennn · 17/02/2015 09:31

There seems to be no good appt system for GPS. No getting round it, there just aren't enough of them.

Ivytheterrible · 17/02/2015 10:04

Just seen my gp and whoop whoop I've got 2 weeks of tablets for the first time. She does spoil me. I tell ya you take one overdose and its weekly scripts for blardy ages.

Seem to be able to get appts very easily GP just books me in herself for the next one each time I go. Probably to stop me from never getting around to it.
