Advice on Citalopram

hi i have been put on citalopram 20mg for depression, this is my second day but the side effects are driving me crazy! really really spaced out, and not being able to sleep at all? is this normal? or do I need to lower the dose! any advice please

Totally normal.

I went onto 20 and felt totally off my head, did 10 mg for a few days and then went up again.

It worked/ works great.

Stick with it op. It helped me to take it in the morning. Taking it at night meant vivid dreams so my sleep was effected.
