I have name changed.

I'm not going to do anything silly but I am so stressed and I have had this horrible bug too which hasn't helped. I do literally wish I could curl up in ball, close my eyes and not wake up. I have ten more days of this madness until my work deadlines are complete - I just have to get there in one sane piece.

(((stressed))) sorry to hear things are so tough for you at the moment. That sounds really hard, especially if you're ill too. Is there anything you can do to take your mind off work this evening? Someone suggested to me last night relaxing music, camomile tea and a foot massage off DP - I know it sounds like small things but doing each of those things genuinely helped a lot.

I was so "awake" after work I've not been able to relax at all. I am starting to get a bit comatose now as its so late so am hoping I will just fall asleep when I hit the pillow. I have to work tomorrow as well but I don't have an expected start time (will just mean I finish later) - so I can just wake naturally. I just hope I don't wake with panic attacks. Why is life sooooo stressful nowadays - everything is complicated, red tape and bureaucracy.

I think it often helps to realise a lot of people are in the same boat.
I'm in work tomorrow too in a new promotion but also stressed out with a looming deadline for a big essay and I have M.E Confused it's no fun but it will pass .

I agree with blessed that many people are in a similar situation. I'm doing a phd at the moment which I realise is a lot different to working outside the academic setting but I'm finding I need to work a lot of Saturdays too. Everything seems to be pretty complicated and bureaucracy whatever sector you work in these days :( I really hope you manage to get some rest and don't wake up with panic attacks.
