Recovering from depression alone.

I had a manic episode which lost me nearly everyone. Then i crashed into a depressive episode tried to jump off a bridge police arrested me then I was sectioned. I'm finding it hard to deal with this depression when I have no one.

I spend most of my time alone and it's hard to be here knowing I have so few family and friends.

I just feel abandoned (even though it is my fault) and alone.

I have pushed people away too, but have found a lot of support on line, which has made me feel less alone
Can you think about reaching out to just one person in real life? Just start by sending a text asking how things are with them? Something short and simple

Walkingmistake · 20/01/2015 07:57

Some people have text asking after me. But I have had no visitors. I see my kids for only half hour of the day, my mum who I am now living with is out most of the day. So it's just me here on my own all the time.

i'm sorry you suffer so. i had a lovely cpn (mental health nurse) visit me for over a year, i wonder if that may help you. it probably depends on the person you get though.
