Tried to post elsewhere but didn't work, desperately need some help. Ds suicidal and self harming. Taking him to a and e when I can't put him back together. Refusing to see psychiatrist. Don't know what to do. My heart is breaking. Don t know how we came to this place

How old is DS. If he is a serious danger to himself then talk with his doctor about having him admitted for treatment

Hand hold for you. I think I've seen some of your previous threads in teenage section. Is there a crisis team team for MH in your area? If so ring them, you really need some professional help. I'm sorry that you are going through this. Hopefully someone will come along with helpful advice.

Are you in touch with your local CMHT? They will have someone on call. If he is at imminent risk, you may have to consider sectioning? Of course he doesn't think he wants help, that's the nature of his current condition. That doesn't mean he doesn't need it and family can force it, if need be.
