Yes, you don't need this enpo Sad

The voices are okish, I'm trying to ignore them.

Oh dear mental Sad That's so difficult when you've got used to someone, I remember feeling that way when mine left to a different team (due to rearrangements due to clustering).

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/12/2014 17:31

No idea who the replacement is or when he or she can see me. I had quite a few appointments booked over the next month for various reasons. I hope her replacement can honour them. Apparently someone will call me. On a Friday evening? I'll believe that when the phone rings.

SnowyMouse · 12/12/2014 17:34

I hope that they can do your appointments, it must be challenging to fit them around work?

I hope you're not left in limbo too long, services seem so stretched at the moment Hmm

SnowyMouse · 12/12/2014 17:49

I'm having Chinese takeaway as a distraction and to cheer myself up. What's everyone else doing for tea?

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 17:57

Probably sausages and beans after the gym. Takeaway sounds better tho Grin

SnowyMouse · 12/12/2014 18:07

Gym sounds dedicated! Grin

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/12/2014 18:20

I'm off to my Christmas party in order to share my cold with a whole CMHT Smile

SnowyMouse · 12/12/2014 18:37

Have fun!

Enpoid · 12/12/2014 19:26

That's what Christmas parties are for Grin

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 00:38

Just finished the rum Sad

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 02:17

How was the party, Mp? Sneeze on any sausage rolls?

Hope the takeaway was good, Snowy.

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 03:23

The sausages were dull Sad

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 07:40

Have to wait in for parcels today. What thrilling Saturdays is everyone anticipating?

SnowyMouse · 13/12/2014 09:32

The takeaway was good, thanks Enpo Sorry the sausages were unexciting.

I hope your parcels come soon so you're not waiting too long!

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 10:00

Sausages are ALWAYS a disappointment. I never learn. Grin

Go on then, what did you have? My favourite thing to get from the chinese takeaway three steps away from my front door when I was starving hungry and didn't have a huge amount of money was always portion of chips and a plain chow mein which I would slaver slather in mayo and soy sauce Grin Of course when feeling flush it's all about the king prawns…

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 10:03

I got really quite astonishingly drunk last night but gratifyingly my blood sugar stayed under 5, which is mystifying but makes me very happy Grin No hangover today either, though I suppose I may still be drunk as I got up about four hours after I stopped drinking. Going to have to get some more of that rum; it's pretty fucking nice.

SnowyMouse · 13/12/2014 11:41

I had ribs in capital sauce, 1/4 crispy duck with pancakes, and singapore rice noodles (saved for today). It was all very nice. They also recognise me by my voice and always offer free prawn crackers Blush

Wow, no hangover and blood sugar ok, that's impressive! Grin

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 11:53

That all sounds delicious. Sounds like you're a valued customer Grin Duck is one of my favourite meats.

Poor DP has escaped upstairs as I was marching around ranting about clozapine studies from FIFTEEN FUCKING YEARS AGO showing 40 per cent of people on it for five years developing diabetes, and though I was on olanzapine, not clozapine, it's pretty fucking obvious what's going on, and yet shit I see aimed at patients still lists diabetes as an "uncommon" side effect Confused

And moreover nobody had bothered telling me that it appears that these drugs cause diabetes independebtly if weight gain, so while I've spent the last year berating myself for allowing myself to become fat on olnazapine and becoming diabetic, it seems even if I'd stuck to the ridiculously impossible calorie allowance suggested by the psychiatrist who prescribed the stuff and never become some huge, I'd probably STILL have become diafuckingbetic anyway. The fucking cunts then have the nerve to write snarky shit about my unwillingness to ever take that fucking poisonous shit again.

I am deeply intrigued by capital sauce and may have to further investigate as from the look of it you have excellent taste in takeaway Grin

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 12:08

Mostly when I have Chinese food DP cooks it so I'll get him to have a go at ribs in capital sauce - have found a recipe and it looks really good. Now I just have to find a way to tell him that reconstituted dried soya sheets have all the flavour and texture of a used PVC sex suit and I'd rather never eat again than have to put that abomination in my mouth one more time.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 13/12/2014 12:18

Impressive blood sugar control Enpo.

Your Chinese sounds lovely snowy, I wish we had a takeaway in the village.

Christmas party was fun, I managed to cough or sneeze on most people so I expect the office will be like a plague pit next week.

Just been for a ride and going to get a Christmas tree once I'm showered and changed.

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 12:18

Emergency. No oatcakes. Shock

Oh fuck have just noticed almost certainly racist cartoon at the top of that image.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 13/12/2014 12:23

I didn't notice until you pointed it out.

Enpoid · 13/12/2014 12:26

Actually its kind of hard to tell if it's racist or not. I found a better image and I can't work out in context why there would be caricatures of African Americans on there. So maybits just a stylistic thing of the era that I'm picking up on.
