We're both stressed out and down at the moment but him worse than me. I found him crying yesterday morning worried about 'dying'. Sad He was made redundant a couple of months ago having been bullied for months and his confidence has taken a knock. He's been moody and short with me and I've reciprocated but am trying to be kinder. He's not great at talking and I don't think he always tells me everything (I don't think he purposefully hides things but rather keeps things in). I've asked him to book a doctors appointment but I'd appreciate any advice. I've suffered from depression myself but am struggling to know how to help him. Thank you.

Get him to read some self help stuff, if he can identify with it he might not feel so alone. Try and advise him to go to GP, they are hopefully very understanding. Also exercise, relaxation or a hobby can help. Hope things have improved!
