Feel like a failure taking my meds

I know it will take time, but I feel like a total failure that I can't be happy without resorting to taking tablets.

Due to no motivation on looking after myself, including not eating and not sleeping ect, DH makes sure I take my meds every day or I would forget.

Is that a joint decision? Or what they want?

PiperIsOrange · 10/10/2014 17:53

It's a joint decision, I'm very nervous about going back but I'm doing a phased return and got support of HR and my boss.

Hopefully some normality will help.

I hope it goes well then. You've done really well attending the meeting. I hope it helps you get a bit more normality back.

Having a bad day today, feel like curling into a ball and cry.

DH keeps waking me up because the DC are doing this and that, I want to run away and hide from the world.

I'm sorry it's a bad day Piper. Can you go for a bath or shower and just have a few minutes? Are the DC in bed soon?

PiperIsOrange · 11/10/2014 19:27

Put them to bed early to watch DVD

That's a good plan.
Do you think it's the impending return to work?

PiperIsOrange · 11/10/2014 19:38

I really don't know.

Now the children are sorted what would you like to do?

MrsMinton · 11/10/2014 19:41

Sorry I'm like the questioner today! I just would like to help because I know days like this are horrid. Thanks

PiperIsOrange · 11/10/2014 19:50

Eying up the bottle of jack Daniels, but I know it will not help.

Not really no. is that your favourite? I'm a dark rum fan.

PiperIsOrange · 11/10/2014 19:58

I love a pint of real ale. There is a pub near us that is on the canal. It serves fantastic beer and chip butties (homemade chips, not frozen, in chunky bread). I love going and seeing the ducks and enjoying the peace.

PiperIsOrange · 11/10/2014 20:13

That sounds a lovely afternoon out. Do they do egg and chips with bread and butter.

Good. Just be gentle with yourself and try and sleep when you can. You have had a lot going on and are doing great. This is a blip.

PiperIsOrange · 12/10/2014 01:07
