Paranoia :-(

From time to time, I get really paranoid about friendships.......x is closer to than they are to me or z talks to y or x takes advantage....etc etc

Had various MH problems in the past, but relatively stable for a while now.

It just creeps in now and then.

I get paranoid that people don't respond to texts or take a long time to respond, someone isn't chatty enough or seems off with me.

I know it sounds stupid and mostly I move past the feelings, but just starting to get ahead of me of me a bit Hmm

Need some handholding and tips please....sorry Hmm

Oh dear. I have nothing useful to add- rational thinking and maintaining good interpersonal relationships are not exactly my area of expertise.

Didn't want to read and ignore tho xx

Hi feather. Hope you are feeling better today. This fact sheet www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/paranoia/#.VDGzIsu9KSM is really useful as has some self help advice on paranoia. Explain to your friends and family how you feel if you can so they can help talk through and put your thoughts into perspective. Good luck

How are you doing now hun ?

Your post resignated with me as I also feel like you from time to time. I have no history of MH and have always considered myself to be mentally strong.

However I have to say that since my LO starter school I have felt paranoid about some of the other mums (who I once considered friends). I feel isolated and ignored most of the time (although they'll be pleasant to my face) and I find that i've not been included in get togethers. Why do ppl have to be so cruel eh. I don't think it's me to be honest - I trust my instinct but find it disappoining that they have developed a 'click' around me

Heyho

I get this sometimes. I have MH probs - severe PND x2 but now mainly health anxiety.

I've noticed it's an 'everybody hates me' paranoid feeling.

However recognising it's paranoia and no one really cares that much about me helps! And also thinking well worse-case scenario "their loss" if that makes any sense at all?!
