How long does it take for AD to work.

I know it's only been 2 days, but I just wondering how long did it take for the meds to kick in.

I am on 50mg of steraline ( spelling )

Usually about 3 weeks is my understanding but not sure if your particular one is any faster.

sertraline, just got the box.

So another few weeks of feeling like this.

Hang in there, it will kick in before you know it. Perhaps try to let things slide a bit for a few weeks in the knowledge that you can expect a pick up at the end of it?

Perhaps also look for other ways to help you in your situation too, even if it's only temporary measures.

Usually around 4 weeks but up to 6 isn't unusual. Remember to take it at the same time every day and that 50mg is a relatively low dose - there's scope for increase if required - up to 200 iirc. Sertraline
