Has anyone any experience of this procedure? And did it work?

No personal experience. However, I know of two people who have had it - for one it was a miracle, and for the other it made no difference (but didn't make her any worse).

Not had it myself, but know two people who did and the improvement was amazing.

For the positive, I should add.

It seems to be my only choice, having had numerous different ADs, a spell as an inpatient and over 2 years of CBT and seeing a head man as I like to call my psychiatrist!

A member of my family has had it against her will when on a section in hospital. It has eased the depression but it really affected her memory. She can't remember things like the birth of her children.
