Stress - how does it feel when you are about to go down

For those who have had/have stress how does it feel (emotionally) when you are going from just getting stressed out about the normal things to generally stressed about the tiniest little thing?

I don't want to go too much into how I'm feeling at the moment as I don't think I'd be able to articulate it very well. I have a 3 year old and just turned 1 year old (who doesn't sleep well) and I just feel like I have a constant knot in my tummy and get stressy/angry at almost nothing. My poor dconstituencies being shouted at, just for being 3 really!

I'm interested to hear your experiences. thanks

Angry all the time.
Tears unpredictable.
Obsessed with stupid things, get upset when plans change.
Am on antidepressants now and that had dulled things somewhat (I don't cry anymore) and also getting close to a diagnosis for DC which has been one of the stressful things that pushed everything else off.

Sorry, I'm not articulating very well either. Maybe because I'm not truly out of the woods yet.I hope you get the support you need soonFlowersBrew

I would like to know too, sorry in advance e for hijacking. I am permanently stressed, my dd (age 4) is getting shouted at for things that don't deserve such a severe shout but I have zero patience. I'm anxious and getting myself wound up about nothing. I've been getting a lot of headaches too (some migraines) and feel nauseous regularly. I work full time in a demanding job which involves us being out the house by 715 until 6. I'm on a mission to prove I'm a super mum who can juggle a career, hobbies (running and french), a family, a happy home and have just taken on a scho governor role. I'm turning into a wreck though :(

I'm interested to know when I'll fall over the edge?

Sunshine and Saz how are you??

I was feeling better this morning after going to bed just after 9, but dh just rung me from his car and wanted to discuss getting the car serviced whilst he remembered. Does he not realise how stressed I get getting me and dd out the house. I have no time for his chatter whilst he's not busy.

Argh. Sorry I just had a major stress and needed 5 mins to vent!

I'm now feeling anxious and just shouted at dd (playing with cats not cleaning her teeth!). Mega worried about a 121 I'm having with my mngr at work today too which isn't helping my stress :(
