Feeling worse again...

Not sure what's the matter with me at the moment. I've been on Citalopram 40mg for about four months now (went up from 20mg after a month) and have just been feeling awful this past week or so.

I think it's probably normal, because I was made redundant and am currently between jobs, after five years with a company I really loved. My new job starts next week and although I'm really pleased to have found something so quickly I feel scared too.

I'm seeing the GP later this week to review my AD's and talk about coming off them, but I feel horrible atm, really insecure and wobbly .

I have to say it doesn't sound like the best of times to try to come off. You have good reason to feel a bit shaky. It's a big thing to change jobs! Do you see a therapist as well as take AD's?

Thanks for replying so quickly!

Yes - seeing him this afternoon, in fact. Will have to stop seeing him though as starting new job and he can only do office hours.

Hmmm, I guess try to get the most out of it while you can and maybe get a referral to someone who has after hours appts?

Just been back to the GP for my repeat prescription and she did a nine-question test on me to see how things are. I think I was probably a bit negative as have been v weepy this morning. Do you have experience of this test? It was shorter than the Edinburgh post-natal one, which I did last year. I'm wondering if it may indicate changing ADs or something...
